Circular Transition Hubs

Turning local experience into wider change

The BELOOP Circular Transition Hubs (CTHs) are local spaces that connect stakeholders around the project’s pilot activities and results. They bring together citizens, businesses, public authorities, researchers and other relevant actors to exchange knowledge, build capacity and explore how circular solutions can be adopted and replicated in different contexts.

What do the Hubs do?

  • Diagnose

    Understanding consumers and their context

CTHs support local data collection, stakeholder engagement and access to contextual knowledge, helping BELOOP understand behavioural drivers and barriers.

  • Design

    Co-creating circular interventions

CTHs provide physical and digital spaces where consumers, businesses and municipalities work together with the pilots to shape relevant interventions.

  • Demonstrate

    Testing, learning and refining

CTHs create spaces for observation, reflection and feedback, helping pilot partners validate findings and improve intervention delivery.

  • Diffuse

    Sharing, replicating and scaling

CTHs become knowledge diffusion nodes, supporting training, capacity building and the replication of BELOOP practices beyond the pilot regions.

Four hubs, connected across Europe

The CTHs are established in four regions where BELOOP’s pilots take place, acting as local anchors for engagement, learning and replication.

From local action to shared knowledge

The CTHs are connected through the BeInTheLoop platform, bridging local activities with the wider European community. The platform supports knowledge sharing, access to tools and resources and the dissemination of lessons from the pilots.
